Q) Why a Tailored Cover?

There are a number of reasons why you should consider a tailored cover over the "one size fits all" variety; visually speaking, a snug, tailored cover looks much better than a lose or badly fitting cover. Although often a universal fit cover will be a cheaper alternative, this can prove to be a false economy as the vehicle paintwork can be easily damaged by excessive cover movement thereby reducing the value of your vehicle and causing unsightly marks. Fitting of a universal fit cover can also be tricky as often they are too big or too small for the vehicle, requiring extra tie-down cords to prevent it from coming of the vehicle, whereas a tailored cover is guaranteed to fit perfectly every time.

Q) Why do I need a Breathable Fabric?

Both our outdoor and indoor covers are manufactured from breathable fabrics. This means that moisture on the vehicle is allowed to escape through the fabric preventing mould and dampness from building up on the cover and the vehicle.

Q) Are the outdoor covers waterproof?

The outdoor cover fabric is designed to be both breathable and water resistant at the same time. Under extreme conditions, such as prolonged heavy rain, the air undneath the cover naturally becomes damp resulting in a build up of moisture. However, once the air clears, this moisture vapourises through the fabric leaving the inside of the cover clean and dry, thereby preventing mould and damp building up on the vehicle. This is one of the reasons why a breathable cover fabric is so important.

Q) How long will it take to manufacture and deliver the cover?

Q) Do you have the dimensions or a pattern for my car?

We have an very large database of vehicle dimensions, classic and modern including MPV's, 4x4's, American models and even limousines. In the unlikely event that we don't have a pattern on our system, we'll make arrangements with you to gather the neessary dimensions. You can of course contact us before placing your order just to be sure.

Q) What's the difference between the Fully Tailored and Semi Tailored Covers?

Our Semi-Tailored Covers are an excellent value alternative to a fully tailored cover. Using our experience, we select the closest possible fit from a range of pre-manufactured sizes to ensure the optimum size for your vehicle. Delivery times are therefore very quick, usually just a couple of days. As with our fully tailored covers, strong durable elastic is sewn into both the front and rear hems eliminating cover movement.
